From One Hundred Famous Views of Edo

Kyobashi is the first bridge you cross on the Tokaido road after leaving Nihonbashi.

Its name comes from the fact that it is the "first bridge to Kyoto."

The area below is the Kyobashi River, which connected to the outer moat of Edo Castle,

 and was once lined with bamboo wholesalers. It has now been reclaimed,

and an expressway runs over it.

One Hundred Famous Views of Edo  is a series of ukiyo-e prints

begun and largely completed by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797~1858)

were reproduced in 1998-2004

by Tokyo traditional woodcut craft Association

Only perfect condition one.　

Never rolled up.

Never framed, kept in professional condition.
