Shipping methods for tenugui (Japanese hand towels) and furoshiki (wrapping cloths)
Posted by Masaru Kikuchi at
As you know, international shipping costs have been soaring recently.
We have received many requests from customers for a more affordable shipping method for items such as tenugui (Japanese hand towels) and furoshiki (wrapping cloths).
As of yesterday, April 25th, 2026, we will be offering Japan Post's small airmail service.
This is a small airmail service for small packages (up to 2kg) where delivery status can be tracked.
Delivery will be to the recipient's mailbox.
*Depending on the situation in the destination country, the tracking service may not be available.
Insurance is not available.
Also, we cannot ship precious metals; Master Saito's works will be shipped via DHL or EMS.
The following are the service details:
Delivery Method: Airmail
Delivery Time: Approximately 5-21 days
Delivery time varies depending on the destination country.
It is proportional to the distance from Japan and the number of flights.
Delivery Record: No recipient signature is required.
(Tracking service is available.)
Insurance is not available for this package.
Thank you for your understanding.
