therefore each individual item are slightly different each other.
"Somenishiki-Kogane" (Dyed Brocade and Gold) is a unique technique developed by Kinsai Fujii. It involves applying gold accents to white porcelain—which has already been fired at 1,300°C—and then firing the piece again at 800°C to bond the gold. The process requires firing the piece after the application of each individual color, resulting in a total of six to ten firings, with the gold applied and fired last. The gold fused to the surface creates subtle nuances of light and shadow. The luster of the gold shifts depending on the angle of the light and the viewer's perspective, creating a magnificent, opulent style that commands a powerful presence.
