Carp streamers こいのぼり (Koinobori)
On Boys' Day (Tango no Sekku), carp streamers are made by drawing carp on paper
or cloth and letting them flutter in the wind, as a wish for the success of boys.
Just like the legend of the Dragon Gate where a carp transforms into a dragon
after climbing a waterfall, these streamers express the hope that
one's own child will grow up healthy and achieve great success in the future.
Lucky Cat Series (Fuku Manekineko)
Cats are a familiar sight to Japanese people, and in the past, they were considered auspicious symbols for sericulture because they protected crops and controlled pests.
Now that sericulture has declined, they are cherished as symbols of
business prosperity and family safety.
