All of our products are all handmade and hand painted by Master Fujii Kinsai,
therefore each individual item are slightly different each other.
This decorative plate features *Some-nishiki* (underglaze blue and overglaze enamel) and gold leaf accents. Each piece is meticulously shaped using the expert potter's wheel techniques cultivated throughout the long history of Arita ware, and hand-painted with the artist pouring their entire focus into the tip of the brush. The surface depicts the "Takara-zukushi" (Collection of Treasures)—a traditional Japanese motif featuring auspicious symbols cherished since ancient times, such as the magic mallet, treasure sack, scroll, clove, and *shippo* (seven treasures) pattern.
The "Takara-zukushi" is a classic Japanese auspicious design that stylizes various treasures—long revered as symbols of happiness and prosperity—into a single composition. Long celebrated as a prestigious design in Arita and Imari wares, each element embodies wishes for good fortune, prosperity, longevity, and success.
