This decorative plate is meticulously crafted using traditional Arita ware techniques, with every step—from wheel-throwing to hand-painting—executed with great care. The background features the *Seigaiha* (blue ocean wave) pattern—symbolizing eternal expanse—rendered in a dignified red-enamel style (*aka-e*), upon which the "Three Friends of Winter" (pine, bamboo, and plum) are vividly depicted using the *somenishiki* technique (a combination of underglaze blue and overglaze enamels). A pair of cranes, rendered with gold and platinum accents, are positioned gently side-by-side, exuding a refined elegance and a commanding presence.
