"Somenishiki-Kogane" (Dyed Brocade and Gold) is a unique technique developed by Kinsai Fujii. It involves applying gold accents to white porcelain—which has already been fired at 1,300°C—and then firing it again at 800°C to bond the gold. The piece undergoes multiple firings—typically six to ten rounds—as each individual color is applied, with the gold firing performed as the final step. The gold applied across the surface creates subtle nuances of light and shadow. The luster of the gold shifts depending on the angle of the light or the viewer's perspective, resulting in a magnificent, opulent style that commands a powerful presence.

Peony
With their magnificent, large blossoms and noble bearing, peonies have long been revered in China as the "King of Flowers" and celebrated as symbols of wealth and prosperity. In Japan, too, the breathtaking beauty of the peony has inspired its use in a wide array of designs, from paintings to traditional crafts. It is an auspicious motif that embodies a sense of elegant grace amidst its splendor.
