therefore each individual item are slightly different each other.
"Somenishiki-Kogane" (Dyed Brocade & Gold) is a unique technique developed by Kinsai Fujii. It involves applying gold accents over white porcelain—which has already been fired at 1,300°C—and then firing the piece again at 800°C to bond the gold. The process requires firing the piece after the application of each individual color, resulting in a total of six to ten firings, with the gold application serving as the final step. The gold fused to the surface creates subtle nuances of light and shadow. The luster of the gold shifts depending on the angle of the light and the viewer's perspective, creating a magnificent, opulent style that commands a powerful presence.
Tessen (Clematis)
The name "Tessen" (literally "iron wire") refers to the plant's vines, which are as strong as iron wire. Prized since ancient times for its graceful appearance, this motif has frequently been depicted on Arita and Imari ware. With its charming aesthetic, the Tessen pattern remains highly popular to this day.
