All of our products are all handmade and hand painted by Master Fujii Kinsai,
therefore each individual item are slightly different each other.
*Kinsai* (gold decoration) is a traditional Arita-yaki style characterized by a multi-stage creation process. It begins with underglaze painting followed by firing at 1,300°C; next, traditional Arita colored enamels are applied and fired at 800°C; finally, gold is used to add decorative patterns. Because the piece is fired after the application of each color, the entire process involves five to ten separate firings. The result is a magnificent, dignified style that combines brilliant gold accents with inventive color schemes and layouts.
*Takarazukushi* (Collection of Treasures)
*Takarazukushi* is a playful pattern featuring a collection of precious items traditionally prized as treasures. Beloved for the good fortune they symbolize, these motifs frequently appear on Arita-yaki and Imari-yaki ceramics. As a traditional design, *takarazukushi* serves as an auspicious pattern embodying wishes for good luck and happiness.
